My journey into the travel world started almost 25 years ago, when I walked into the Sandals & Beaches, Miami office to interview for a Reservation Sales Agent position. During the interview, I sat in on a call with an experienced agent named John Paul Graham, aka Scratch – an older Jamaican man with a thick accent, long greying dreadlocks, and a gift for turning a phone call into a booked dream vacation. I knew right then this was what I wanted to do.

Over the next 6 years, I visited every Sandals and Beaches resort, became one of the company’s top sales agents, worked with their top Travel Agent accounts, helped run call center operations in the UK and St Lucia, and even helped launch the ‘Chat’ feature still on sandals.com today. Along the way I made friendships that last to this day and discovered a love for travel that’s since taken me to over 90 countries and all 7 continents.

Fast forward to 2019, my wife introduced me to my very first cruise. Can you believe living in Miami, the cruise capital of the world, and never cruising once in 20 years? Yup, that was me. My first cruise was on Silversea to the Caribbean, since then I’ve sailed about 100 nights all around the world, from the Arctic to Antarctica (truly one of the most amazing places I’ve ever seen) to the Galapagos Islands to New Zealand, Fiji and Europe on Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Virgin Voyages and more.
